Lowest on-road PSI?

Contemplating getting a house near an outer beach (2.5 miles away). Would like to air down "a bit" for the outer beach without airing back up to get home, especially if doing so several times over a weekend. So I would be driving approximately 5 miles back and forth at 30MPH max. Any thoughts on a PSI setting that would be decent for the sand yet allow me low speed back and forth? Yeah I know I'm getting lazy but worth a shot!

Between camgrounds and the trailheads around Moab, I regularly drive (4 or 5 times per year) as many as 15 minutes at speeds as high as 55 at 15 psi. I've never had a problem with the sidewalls getting hot. The life of my tires (BFG ATs ) has been normal (70k miles on one set, 55k miles on a 2nd set, and now on a 3rd set of the same tire with no noticeable decrease in life)

YMMV

with those tires you could be down to probably 10psi if keeping speeds down to under 30mph. I have no problem running under 15psi at 65mph. I do it every year at moab. air down when we get there and don't air up until we leave. I would not worry one bit about 10psi at under 30mph under normal driving.

2.5 miles, you won't hurt anything. Gotta be low psi in the sand anyway.

I run 45 minutes at 13 psi between 30-50 mph between trail heads.
