i guess it all depends on what the OP decides to do. but 33's will rub when going off road if the sahara is stock with stock rims. it will also rub the fenders from what i have heard, but like said above you can cut the flares if you feel like cutting apart your vehicle. i on the other hand would prefer to not cut my jeep up on purpose in case i decide i want to get rid of it in the future.
to each there own though and i think it would help to know if the OP is planing on keeping the stock rims or going after market as well.
Thanks for all the info Please let me know what you suggest as far as maximum tire size with new rims. I really like the crager soft 8's. I brought the jeep to a shop that does mod's and his price was almost $4000. for tires, rims, 3" lift and new suspension. I'm trying to avoid spending that much so I was thinking that bigger tires/rims would be the solution without a lift.
without lifting the jeep your pretty much stock with a true 32" tire. i am putting 275/65R18 on mine wich is a true 32" tire and i wont be able to go any bigger unless i lift it and like mentioned above it will rub on the inner fender wells, fenders and even the stock bumpers unless modded or replaced.
