May I please have a moment of silence....

We have had a rash of Home break-ins, Vehicle break-ins, and Vehicle vandalism over spring break..... My 2009 Wrangler X was the most recent casuality.

Man that is brutal. Like losing a family member! Hopefully everyone is okay and nothing too significant was in the jeep. Got good insurance? I hope so ......then you can be out jeeping again in no time!

Holy crap. "Vandalism"? When I hear "vandalism" I think keying your paint or slashing your tires. That's a damn FIRE BOMB. Sorry dude. Hope to see you in a new one soon.

Full coverage and gap...... doesn't help the sting. I had some tools and whatnot in there, I was cleaning mud from under it, and had a flat tire (notice the jack)...... My eleven year old son is tore up, he fully expected to take her when he turned 16. Of course cops have nothing, but I have a couple of suspects.... But yea, noone was injured.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Yah and I would call that arson, not vandalism.

see how much you can "buy it back" for from the insurance company. Might be worth selling the axles, t-case

The sting of loss in this kind of annoyance can fortunately be overcome with the application of attention to a proper "new puppy".

Sorry for the loss. RIP Old Jeep.

I would love to hear the story behind this one. That's quite a fire. Looks like who ever burned that soaked it in some type of accelerant or something. I've seen burnt up vehicles and that has the look of no question done with some help. Don't think someone just threw a match in there and lit it. Were you working on it before it happened or did you jack it up to take some parts off afterwards? Hope nothing of value was to close to that and got burned or damaged by the fire or whatever put it out.

Re read. That explains the jack.

I can't even imagine what I would do to someone if I caught them keying my jeep let alone setting it on fire

Holy sh*t!!

Goodness that sucks hardcore. That's more than vandalism is my mind. Thats arson. Somebody could have gotten killed during that.

My Jeep got keyed, I delt with the little punk that did it. I've read quite a few vandalism threads lately on here. Wtf is going on lately?
