MB 72 Discontinued

I was bummed to find out that the MB 72 in matte black are no more. I tried to place an order this morning with Discount Tire and they are no longer available. Back to the drawing board... No body wants to make attractive 15" wheels anymore.

Keep checking other places with a google search, summit racing has some wheels that gave been discontinued for years. You may be able to find something

MB TKO's are a good alternative

Yeah I couldn't believe that, and then DTD replaced it with the Level 8 Tracker, could get it in 15x8 with -19 offset just like the MB72, checked yesterday and those are gone too now.

What gives? This might be what pushes me to say screw it, Cragar soft 8's it is!

^
I don't mind the TKO's but I liked the price and the simplicity of the others.

Best looking wheel they had, and they discontinued it. Sigh...

I wasn't a fan at first but found some more JKs with Blackrock d-windows. Decided to grab those. TKO was a close 2nd choice.

I understand it's all subjective, but I like the Level 8 Tracker better. I couldn't be happier with mine.

I just took the MB's off my JK and replaced with the Black Rock Rock Crawlers. I am trying to sell my MB's if anyone interested. The thread is listed on the forum.

Level 8 tracker, MB72, ProComp 7069, all very similar. Or for a little more the Mickey Thompson Classic II black.

Did we ever figure out if only for the 15s? They still have 16s and 17s on site.

As others have posted there are other similar options. I'm with you, I like the classic 8 hole deep dish look.

Also I'd stay away from discontinued wheels. You dent one and you're SOL, been there.

X2
Just ordered same rims on Monday.

But it wasn't until after I said I dislike the level 8s and am interested in another rim that the guy said he had 16" 72s

Very excited. Just ordered five mb 72 16s with five 235/85/16 Duratracs. Getting installed at DTD in Lakeland. Went to Four Wheel Parts in town but their prices were a little out of control and they were trying to push bigger and wider tires, which I don't want.

Down the road, probably get a 1.75" Puck Lift, but want to see how this looks and feels first.

THey don't make them in 5x5 at 15" I think. Only 17". They do in 5x4.5, which is good for the TJers.
