I really like the high clearance bumpers and I am stuck between the RR XHD and the Poison Spyder. The weight is relatively close but it seems like the PS is about 30 lbs lighter. I have a 2016 JK Willys stock. I don't plan to lift it for a while but I definitely want bumpers to protect me a little bit more.

Should I be worried about sag with my stock willys suspension and what are your opinions on the RR XHD or PS? I'd be getting steel for either one for both the front and back.

Thanks
TPT front bumpers weigh in at anywhere between 55lbs and 67lbs, depending on the configuration. Tough as nails (proven on the trails) -- rhyme is purely coincidental haha. Can get them in a flat top (no grill protection), square tube hoop or stinger, or round tube hoop or stinger.

Hi everyone... new here.

I am looking to add new bumpers to my JK. I like the Hardrock bumpers, just not the price. I've been looking at these "look a-likes" on eBay but question there quality. Has anybody come across these before?

What about the Qtec or RR versions? Much less expensive, yes?

I went to Expedition One while traveling through Utah and have to say they are a first class company. Bought the rear trail series bumper and love it.

Would love to drive through there and buy the rear bumper and have them install it at the same time.

I am thinking about their Core series rear bumper without tire carrier when the time comes...

Put on a Warn Elite yesterday. Been wanting one for a while. Wife got it for me for Christmas. Really solid, and the scale reflected this, as it weighed in at 117 pounds.

That's the one I want as well. Looks good. What size tires and lift do you have? I just put 35s and a 3.5" lift on my 13JKU and the bumpers are next on the list.

I'm running 33's and a 2" Old Man Emu lift with the Light Springs, front and Rear Terraflex adjustable Trac Bars.

Here's a hint for potential buyers. DON'T BUY AN AEV BUMPER UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND IT RUSTING AFTER A YEAR OR TWO. Yeah, it maybe the best looking bumper but for the price it is not worth the headache. It clearly has a design flaw that the manufacturer will not admit to.

Got the Rough Country winch stubby - love how it looks - powder coat isn't the best, might get it line-x'd.

Anyone have experience with VPR 4x4 bumpers. I really like the look of the Ultima Shorty but haven't heard one talking about them. Any thought?

Thinking about the Rock Slide Engineering front bumper. Maybe even the aluminum one since I hate rust. Bye bye AEV, you rusty POS! They should treat their customers better because there are plenty of other alternatives out there.

Finally got enough of the road salt off of it to take a decent picture. It's the LoD full width destroyer with bulbar, skid, fairlead bracket and license plate bracket.

Im considering the bumper in the below link. Full width FactoryRestyling bumper for JK. Anyone have experience with one of them? Thoughts?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DNI34EY..._wyyFybA6XHQG4

Here's what I like..
1. Aesthetics
2. Cost
3. Fog light position won't require extension
4. Tabs for auxiliary lighting

My biggest question is whether it's any quality at all. My good friend owns a steel fabricating plant that should be able to fix any minor issues but don't want to have to redo all of it.

I think the price is very low. The bumper looks cool (design), but the steel is thin (below what you normally see in most bumpers, foreign and domestic) and I guarantee you that's not 2 3/8"x.120 wall tubing.

How long have you had the bumper? I think this is the first instance of rusting I have heard of on an AEV. Rusting is obviously never desirable, but it is even more disappointing to see it on such an expensive bumper. Is this a fluke or is it more common than I thought for AEV?

I had the bumper less than 2 years before it started rusting. At the two year point I went to the dealer and AEV. They offered to repair it with seam sealer that AEV sent. The pic above is a year after the repair. BTW, I live in Central VA. We have minimal snow, so salt is not really an issue here and my Jeep has never been to the beach. I also keep my Jeep clean. I even tried to get AEV to sell me another one at cost and they turned me down.

No fluke here, the dealer had told me there had been others they had to repair.
