Metal Cloak Overline or Overland????

I am torn between the Overline and Overland fenders, I love the front overline hands down, I like how the overline rears come in close to the body ten the overline, but don't really care for the skin plate that seems to be required on the overline. If I do go with the overline rears with the skin plate I would paint the plate to match the body.

What are your guys thoughts on both, anyone have pics of their overline fenders?

I've been looking at these a little, may upgrade to them eventually (and replace my Bushwackers).
What I see is the advantage of the Overline's is the ability to add/remove the extension flares. Extensions on for tire coverage(some states require tire to be covered on streets), extensions removed for wheeling for extra tire clearance.
I would say if you don't want or need that flexibility, and you don't want the skin plate, do the overland.
Visually I don't see a whole lot of difference in the rears, except the skin plate you mentioned.
No reason you couldn't do overline fronts and overland rears.

Difference in the two are that the overline come in to the back flush where as the overland stand off like 2-3 inches. When I made my bumper I made it flush with the body so would like to do flush with the body for the fenders too, just don't really like the skin plate, but guess I could always color match the body.

I chose the Metalcloak Overline System. It really depends on what you plan on doing with your rig. I have rubbed, dragged, and leaned on these fenders and their strength is second to none. The fronts attach to the subframe as does the Overland version and several other manufacturers (Poison Spyder, Crawler Concepts, etc.). However, there is no such structure accessible in the rear of the JK, which is where the use of armor really places this system above all others in my opinion (excluding custom fender/armor applications).

I am sure that whatever you choose will work great for you... I have not been unhappy with a single Metalcloak product yet! Oh, and just one word of advice... if you do go with the Overline fenders, do yourself a favor and pick up a nut-sert tool!!! Man I hate those things!!!

X1,000 on hating the nutserts! I helped my buddy install the Overline kit and I will likely order when next month. I'm not a fan of the rear armor piece either, but like you said that is where the strength comes from and I've had enough close calls that I want that security.

Nice looking rig!

I'm in the same boat. I like the look of the overlines on the front, but I have a full width rear bumper and like that the overlands stick out a bit to match the bumper. I also like the flip step that comes with the overland and not having to drill the metal plates into my body. I called Metalcloak and spoke with them and they told me that the overline fronts will work with the overland steps and rails just fine. That's what I'm probably going to do. Mix and match. I have a Metalcloak lift on my Jeep and it's top notch. I love their fenders too.
