I just had my MetalCloak Game Changer Lite installed. Does it look like it's a 2 1/2" or 3 1/2"? My tires are 285/75r17 KM2 (33.9 x 11.2"). It looks a little tall to me.

You're right that the front looks right, but the rear is too high. That's not good news, because I still have to add my driving beams on the bumper. I don't know how the rear is too light, though. I have the metal bumper/tire carrier/fuel caddy, and the old hardware is in the boot in boxes right now.

It's also on a slightly sloped driveway in the pics, maybe that changes the appearance?

I would just contact the guys at MC and see what their thoughts are...relying on the keyboard cowboys on the forums usually does nothing but piss you off!

That's excellent advice, and I sent them an e-mail much earlier this morning with the thread link. Maybe they'll chime in. They're usually pretty good about it. But, I still enjoy the opinions of others. It gives me different perspectives.

Did you get some measurements on level ground? Its hard to tell from photos of angled driveway what's going on and without numbers its even harder. I do think its pretty clear that your higher in the rear but that can be due to a variety of different things. Did you do the install yourself?

No, I had a reputable 4x4 shop in NJ install it (I'm pretty sure they did a good job), and I'm on the other side of the planet. I've been gone a year and won't see it in person for another couple of weeks. I didn't want to fiddle with it when I get home because I'm hurtin' for some family time.

The pics were taken by my better half. I'll see if she has time to get a pic on level ground. Here are some more, though.

The first one is the before (18/59 Springs), and the other two are after (she had a finger smudge on the lens):

Yeah, from the photos it looks like you had a nice rake going before the lift. I would try to get some level ground shots and some measurements if you can, then shoot the guys at MC an email with the info. Its hard to diagnose what the problem is, if there is one, if you didn't do the install yourself, have accurate before/after measurements or better shot of the Jeep on level ground. Right now there are too many variables.

How is the ride?

Looks good to me. It may be a bit higher than 2.5" but i do know that MC rates their lifts for fully armored Jeeps so you can easily be higher than advertised.

Lol, wow. I like the look though. Be even better with tires that are closer to 35's, but that's me.

When I got my GC Lite, I ordered the 2.5" kit but couldn't get the 2.5" springs in the time frame I required so they gave me a set of 3.5" springs temporarily until the 2.5" springs arrived. Well after the install, I liked the 3.5s but I didn't like the factory rake that came back with the MC lift. I had previously installed a TF leveling kit. So I took one of the front pucks and put that on top of the front 3.5" springs and my rig sits how I like it. Just an idea. Be safe.

If you keep the higher lift you also need to consider the driveshafts. Another reason mine will not be lifted much if any, it does just about what I need it to already anyhow.
