metalcrafters belly pan

with all the talk of grille inserts, here is metalcrafters matching belly pan. replaces the stock air dam. black or polished insert.

I looked at that, but decided to go for the RR front skid plate instead.

That piece from Metalcrafters looks more like a metal air dam, but it'll still protect way better than the stock "-1 Air Dam of Limited Utility" and looks like it might look half decent when installed too. The pic doesn't do it justice I'm thinking.

You think of getting one?

it proabably looks nice installed. from the description, i think its just plastic. but better than the stock piece. i had the skid row piece on my 07. that was nice looking. no. just looking at the MC piece.

air dam is just a log catcher anyways. Just stick with the stock till it breaks off, then remove it. Looks better gone either way. if anyone wants, I still have my stock one. for 100 bucks, I'll cut a hole in it and rivet in the mesh. Thats 50% off metalcrafters!

Might as well just leave the stock air dam in. I love the Metalcrafters grill insert that I have but their "composite" air dam is a waste of $. Why wouldn't anyone just get a good front skid plate. I went with Mopar but there are a lot of other good ones out there.
