Mild Lift questions

Picked up an 08 2dr sahara and looking to go with a mild lift to run 285/70/17's. Wondering if I should go with the AEV 2" or go with the mopar springs. The springs I have on now are 13's in the front and 56's in the rear. If I go with upgraded springs, what else will I need? Shocks? Track Bar? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

AEV is a great lift, also consider TF.

with 13/56's you probably would get a bit of a lift going with 19/60's.

AEV and TF are around $200 for the kits, the HD springs are around $150.

33's will fit w/o a lift but you need change you stock wheels.

If you go with the springs, nothing else will have to be changed because they are a stock spring.

My 07 has 19/59's guess I got lucky

I plan on getting rid of the factory 18's and getting 17's with the proper backspacing.
I drive about 80 miles a day round trip for work; so I don't want to get too crazy with a lift. I may change the front springs to 19's to level it out, and then add the AEV 2inch lift later on.

Put my new Mopar #19 front springs on last night. Had a 13 on the left and a 14 on the right side. After I dropped it down I had gained 2 inches between the top of the front tires to the bottom of the flares. Jeep now sits level and looks great. Next up....2 inch AEV coil spacer lift and some 33's.

You didn't change the rear springs? No way it's sitting level. The slope of the hood creates an illusion that it is lower in the front. The rake is virtually non existent on a 2 door. Your Jeep's butt has got to be low.

It sits level. Not sure if you've ever noticed, but the front flares are higher up on the body than the rears. That can make it look like the front is higher. I know the hood has some rake which can change the view too.
