Milk Jugs on JKU 2012

SO I've been reading all over the place about milk jugs destroying the look of your jeep, and costing a tremendous amount of mojo. I decided to take action, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for!
I might be blind, or this might be something new, but do JKU '12 Saharas have milk jugs??? I'm beyond lost!

I stand corrected. I didn't realize they were still being called jugs...

No no.... You were right.

We don't call them jugs, cutting the ends of and capping is pretty much doing the same thing.

Yes..., a saws-all and cut the ends off.
Very easy

The "milk jugs" were a removable end piece on the TJ model.

Take a look at a stock TJ front bumper. It's a straight metal bar with bulbous plastic end caps. Those are called the milk jugs. TJ'ers take them off like JK'ers take off the air dam.

Nope wasn't me. I do live close to Sante Fe though. Louisiana/S. Broadway area.

I hardly drive anywhere though since I take the light rail everywhere.

Thanks for the explanation. It looks a lot better with the shorter bumpers!

For a Sahara, what you want to do is take of the cheesey silver overlay on the front and rear bumper.

The "milk jug" is visible in that pic.

Great thread save. Hell, you even kept it on topic!
