I got these. Love them so much I took my mirrors off my doors and just use these full time.

Can't recall the maker. Got them off quadratec.

I got and dislike the Lange Quick Mirrors. They wouldn't stay aligned at any speed or driving conditions.

I replaced them with Defiant Systems mirrors (which drop into the door hinge, not bolt to the A pillar like you are asking about) - and have been very happy with them.

Mine pictured above don't have any issues with staying in place.

The only nuisance is that the driver side has a slight whistle from wind noise. It's nothing major and I just turn the radio up. LOL

I got the olympic mirrors. To be honest, i drove for a year without any mirrors so i dont really use them anyway. But they arent good. They vibrate like crazy and you cant see a thing. They slide into the hinge.

But they are legal, thats the only reason i still have them.

I bet if i played with it more i could get it to work...

Check your local laws. I see you are from Canada, no idea what they are there. The state which I live in the US requires only one mirror that you can see at least 200 feet behind you, so the rear view mirror is enough to make it legal for road use.

If you want aftermarket side mirrors, then disregard my above statement.

I just ordered these: JustAddMud JK JAMirrors, JustAddMud Offroad Accessories

I had some Harley mirrors and they worked great on my TJ but I couldn't get them to stay put on the JK.

The Defiant mirrors, btw, are available here: Off road Jeep mirrors by Defiant Systems!

The Lange mirrors I hated also had a whistle, which I would have put up with or tried to fix if there was any way to keep them aligned.

The Defiant mirrors have been stable everywhere from washboard and rock crawling through to highway speed.

I couldn't for the life of me justify $60 to $100 bucks for mirrors.
So I made my own mirror $9.98 at pep boys, 1' long 1/4" all thread Home depot $1.25, 4 nuts and washers I had. Total under $12 bucks

I use these: CIPA 44700/01 - Dual Soft Door Mirror Set in Black for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ - Quadratec

Yes, they are YJ replacement mirrors. Bolt right to the windshield hinge perfectly. They vibrate a liitle bit, but still very usable. I liked the larger profile over the Rugged Ridge and keeps it looking JK-ish. And they were only $27 for a pair!
