MOAB comes with Goodyear Silent Armor tires. I just bought a set for winter driving and use the stock BFG Mud in warmer seasons. Just don't understand why they would put white letter Goodyear's insteaed of all black (looks much better). My JKUR needs that back bumper off the Moab. Saw one at a dealership and the rear bumper doesn't have the water storage option like a traditional AEV (I like).

So far I really like these tires. Sure they arent aggresive, but in the 7" of snow we just had they perform nicely.

I think the spacers gave it the offset needed to fill up the wheel well better.

This is exactly my line of thinking and how I ended up with a Sahara that has AEV bumpers on it now. The Moab got announced like 5 days after my order went in, or I would have considered it instead.

Same here when I put the spacers on my Sahara with stock tires. Looked so much better.

Good to know, once the Muds are shot on mine I was thinking of the Silent Armors since they're supposed to be good in snow and I don't need a tire as aggressive as the BFGs.

Quick question for you Moab owners. I built one on Jeep's site and saw the option for a body-colored hard top but no option for just the black 3-piece hard top. However I see a lot of pictures on this thread of Moabs with the black hard top. Is it only available through the dual top option?

Looks good, probably not many Gecko Moabs either since the color stopped in Early Dec and Moabs hadnt been available for order long.

Hello! I'm new to the forum, and soon to be a first time owner of a jeep. I just ordered mine yesterday 2013 Jeep Unlimited Moab Black, saddle leather, max tow 3.73, side air bags, and hard top. I'm so excited I can't wait for it to get here!

I think the standard hard top is black with the option for body color.

Not sure, I'm purely a softy!

The guy traded in his Honda Element for it.

Ok so I WILL be placing my order for a Moab once I see pictures of Dune and make a decision between Dune or Rock Lobster. With Dune opening today for ordering and the Moab Edition ending at the end of this month a Dune Moab would be a rare commodity.

I agree, Your Moabs are awesome.

I personally ,fell in love with the Rubicon, but the Moab is excellent also. I like the white letters on the tires. And the silent Armor tires are very highly rated, your going to be very happy with them.

I would love to see the upgraded soft top in person, how much different is it??

Good luck to you guys, you will not have any problems with them. Enjoy ,and don't forget to wave!!! I hate it when they don't wave back!!!!! (what are you a prude!!) JK.

Are you sure Moab is offerred in Dune? I didn't see it listed on any of the available colors, anywhere.

On the 'Waiting for Dune' thread I asked if it would be available. Pat said that since this is the last month to order a Moab he "guesses" that Dune would be available for it. Whether that is actually the case or not....who knows.

Pat also stated in that thread that he'll be posting pics of a Dune Moab by the middle of this month. But I don't know if a Dune Moab was built only for the purpose of pictures or if it will be a real, orderable vehicle. Maybe he could answer that since he's a BAMF at answering any other question anyone else has.

Interesting. I was stuck on a Rubi until recently, when I started considering a Sport S with mods financed. Now I might have to throw MOAB into the mix, if it comes in Dune.

I had actually already had a Sport S built in Billet but given the recent news for Dune (and me wanting to upgrade to a special edition), I told my dealer I couldn't take the Billet, which he was ok with. If Dune is offered on the Moab it would be a rare combo with only a 3 week ordering window for that (fingers crossed).

Is anyone upgrading their rear bumper and would like to sell me the OEM bumper off their MOAB (or COD MW3 for that matter)? I pay good price

I don't want the water tanks either. I asked AEV about it and they said...

The Call of Duty side non-water tanks are available for purchase separately. Please contact the AEV sales department if you would like to order those parts.

Hey my future fellow Moabians! I just placed my order earlier today for a Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition with the following options...

Dune Clear Coat
Dark Saddle Leather
Black 3-Piece Hard Top
3.73 Read Axle Ratio

At the dealership I was debating between either Dune or Rock Lobster. The deciding factor between the two colors.....dark saddle leather (which I love) is unavailable on the Rock Lobster. I feel this is going to be one sharp, and not to mention rare, Jeep! I can't wait!!!!

Congrats, I know production ends the end of Feb. So your wait won't be too long.

The dealer asked his manager and he is thinking about 6 weeks or so as we live only two hours from Toledo. Fingers crossed!

Mine was 5 weeks from the day of order. But there was also a supplier issue that delayed launch by a week. It was built on Nov 29th. shipped on and took delivery on Dec. 3rd

I'm about an hour and a half North north east from Toledo.

How much was the freight/delivery fee for a destination an hour from Toledo? In Idaho I think I had to pay $600.
