A quick question, has anybody addressed the puddling of water on our hoods? AEV was reluctant to offer a solution.

Yea I don't get why you would buy a Moab and immediately replace the aev bumpers with mopar ones. Hope you kept them after being taken off and sold all those parts.

There won't be a solution, you'll just have to deal with the bird bath.

It's pretty simple...... I purchased the Moab for the extras, in this case the electronic features..... Kind of six of one half a dozen of the other kinda things..... I know, i know... i could have purchased much better quality after market electronics....However, I wasn't a fan of the exterior components, so I made the swap.... The Mopar bumpers allow for the more open wheel look, which I like especially after the lift.... And the rocker rails were just too narrow... Plus they were textured, and we all know that mud more difficult to remove from texture rather than a slick surface....
And the equalizer.... All the components were installed by my dealer, therefore maintaining my dealer warranty.....

Another cool thing about the Moab no more door dings in parking lots thanks to the rock rails. I'll put my own dings in it thank you

Got the AEV lift on, love the look and it rides the same or better than stock. I've read that it take a few hundred miles to break it in, so the ride may get even better. Went with the correction brackets as well as some JKS quick disconnects. Just need to get some time to hit a few trails. Grabbed a before and after pic.

After:

And the JKS disco's:

Rad!!! Looks great! Questions- I have the 3.5 AEV lift on my Moab- I'm currently disconnecting the hard way! Ugh.

If I can manually disconnect the regular sway bars-
a. Will the jks disco's fit the 3.5 easy?
And b. is it an easy install?

Thanks!

They are adjustable for 2.5 to 6 inches of lift and install is simple. Had them on my 2011 as well.

OK, it's a dry-hot summer and the little Duck has to wait until it'll rain - like the Wildebeests in the Serengeti...

A word to the color: It's Lipstick-red: Rock-Lobsters look different in nature, and I love it.

Lol

To be serious, I like the pool-hood. It's flattering less than the original at higher speeds (Autobahn). Seems that the funny profile makes it stiffer.

Has Jeep published how many Moabs were produced? I read a post listing 2200.

I want to put on a Roof Rack and a Roof Rack Base. I was looking at the BODY Armor because I like the look of it and the fact that you can put down the soft top with the base on and the rack off. I also like the face that you can take off the freedom tops with the rack on when you have the hard top on. Has anyone put this on their 4 door MOAB? If so was it compatible or did you have to drill/mod the rack to make it work? Can you post pics? I really wanna put this rack on but Im afraid it will not work with the AEV factory MOAB bumber. I will also be putting on the AEV tire kit later as I want to lift it once these tires are worn out.

Front bumper addition

Just wanted to post this for those who have not seen this. I got the idea/info from the COD edition thread and added it to my AEV front bumper. Saved me from buying the AEV premium bumper then selling this one.

It is the XHD bumper hoop offered by Quadratec and separately purchased bolts.
