Has anyone fabricated a Flag mount to attach to the front bumper?
We're going to a Park that requires a flag.

The TJ was a simple flat plate, this bumper will be a bit more challenging.

The removable plate on the Moabs AEV bumper may be an option. I'm going to mount off road lights using those holes.

Haven't had a chance to use my disco's yet, but loved them on my 2011.

Yeah 8 months old.
A lot of trips to suppliers on the West side of the state and "Down" in Canada.
The cherokee is launching so travel should wind down a little.

Install was simple, I had to remove the AEV 2" link extension brackets I put on with the lift. But that is one bolt, so it would be the same as removing the Stock lower link attachement.

I bought the 2.5 to 6" disco's and extended them about an inch to bring the bar just past horizontal. I only have a two inch lift.

We have a group going up to Rocks and Valleys Offroad park in a couple weeks, should be a good time.

OK guys, I've read this entire thread a couple of times and I'm pulling the trigger today on a Rock Lobster Unlimited Moab. Wow - red - outside my usual white/black taste, but time for something bright.

Planned upgrades - AEV 2.5 lift with correction brackets, AEV Pintler wheels, Toyo AT2 35" tires.

Thanks for all of the posts and photos of your Moabs! Originally I was thinking about a 10A Rubicon, but the dealers are really bullish on pricing and I don't need the Rubi upgrades. With the lower MSRP of the Moab and a nice discount I can cover the cost of the upgrades I want.

Has anyone done the Argent color Pintler wheel on rock lobster?

There are a bunch of jeeps in Kentucky (most wave unlike SoFlo) yet to come across another Moab. I wonder what the final production numbers are?

The mud wasn't bad. it was the dust from the trails we were on.
It took about 4 hours to vacuum, wipe and rinse it and then a leather conditioner.
There was dust in the console that was never opened!
The wife had mud in her bra and a mud tramp stamp.
All we could do was laugh, it was a small strip of mud about 20 feet long. figured we had to get a little mud after the dusty day.

Start of the day

If you look at the tree angles you can somewhat judge the hills.

Pictures don't do justice for the size of the hills.

The wife even drove a bit.

Yes there was a trail where is was going. I was actually in 1st gear 4 lo with my foot off the clutch and gas, and she just motored up and over!

The wife learning you don't need to touch the gas! She quickly learned the the clutch still has to be used when you stop!

The price difference between a Moab and a 10a rubicon is about 3 grand. For that u get a front d44 locked, the 4:1 T case and electric sway bar disco. Both have rear d44s but the rubi is locked as standard and the Moab can be locked as an option. If the price difference gets much smaller than 3 grand (which it would even with an open d44 in front)I think most people would get a 10a.
