After speaking with the AEV staff about the 2.0 lift, they told me most of their JK200 conversion products were included on Jeeps Moab edition. Very cool.

Love seeing the lil guy in Dodger's blue my friend.. I hope they take it especially with that 220 million dollar payroll. I would hate for my beloved team to become the Marlins of the West.

85, I have learned from working for and with Uncle Sam since I was an adult that greasing a hand is always better than taking one in the butt.

MOAB hood question

Has anyone changed out their stock non-vented MOAB hood? I will be replacing mine sometime in the near future and am considering either the AEV heat reduction hood or the 10A hood.

Also, want to put the "moab" stickers back on and may add a snorkel down the road. Has anyone added the stock stickers with the AEV hood? I guess the last letter needs to be applied to the cowling due to the vents on the side shortening up the space to place the decal.

10A hood is way cheaper, and the same vents could be put in that hood as well as you have to cut into anyway to add a snorkel. Anyone have a pic of a 10A hood with the AEV side vents?

Probably looking at doing something with the hood in the spring.

Have you considered purchasing the AEV vents (three piece) for $100.00 and putting them your Moab hood? That would be cheaper.

I have, but not sure about having the center section put in. It is a viable option though. I'm going to check on the costs of the above and your suggestion as well. It is just irritating that those vents weren't part of the hood in the first place, so it's hard to buy basically the same hood with vents at $1100+!. Tired of the bird bath though.

That's awesome man looks great. Would really love to do the same with some flat fenders. What lift are you running and did the moab wheels force you to get more narrow 35's? Not sure if 35's even come narrow now that I ask that. How does it perform on the highway/on road and overall feel? Also haha sorry all the questions got excited...where did you get the gussets and sleeves? Thanks for the info!

3.5 AEV with the premium bilsteins

Not sure about the width of the tires- I'll get the size for you tomorrow if you remind me.

Feels and drives great on the streets and highway. The geometry correction brackets that come with the lift work very very well. Little sluggish at times on slight grades on the highway- but I'm only on the highway when I head out far to hit trails usually.

Sleeves and gussets were done by travis "brut4ce" In oceanside. $399

In this video you can see how the tires and spacers all work out with the Moab rims...

Other videos in there as well of some better trails as well.

Just got the winch in so I'm chilling for a bit.

But yes- a regear and maybe a front locker is in the near future.

Which winch is that? And where did you mount the solenoid box?

Also I know my dealer send jeeps to a local shop to install AEV snorkels so that shop is experienced in cutting the side of the hood. I will see if they can give me a price on installing that mesh vent kit.

Thumbs up New Moab owner

Hello everyone I am new to the forum and this is my first post. My wife and I just purchased a 2013 Dune Moab back in July. This is our second jeep we previously owned a 2012 sport. We seen this at the dealership and I had to have it. I have friends who own jeeps and they say for that kind of money I should have bought a rubicon. What kind I say I really like it. I live in a city of about eight hundred thousand and jeeps are every were but I have yet to see a moab or very many dune colored jeeps. It's nice to see other moabs owner out there cheers.
