Flexing the 2.5" Rock Krawler Xfactor. Ending up rubbing on the rear bumper.

It's BS. The bulge is simple for looks. The Moab has the exact same engine as any other 2013 that comes with a flat stock hood.

I find it ironic that fellow Jeep owners will bust on other Jeep models. Way to support fellow owners.......

I am looking to put a set of 15 inch wheels with some 33x12.50 tires on this boy, and I know that most 15's don't clear the brakes.. I also know that some do though. You need a back space of at least 4.5 inches for that to work. I just want to know if any MOAB owners here have done this yet. I kinda want to stay away from the cost of new 17's.. and besides, I like more sidewall on my tire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just found this thread and checking in.

Picked mine up in May.

I out on a 2.5 inch lift and have 35s, I am rubbing on the fenders at full flex and was thinking of trimming them. Has anybody trimmed the fenders pictures if you have. I am interested in seeing which way you went with them.

Welcome, you'll probably just have to search on here for cut stock flares. I always think it looks funny with the full width bumper. My problem with rubbing is on the aev rear bumper, probably just going to sell the aev front and rear bumpers and go with something that fits my needs better.

What I found so far is that most people don't want to mess with the alignment of the AEV front bumper and the fender, which I agree to. This was a selling point for me on this model. I did find a thread where the guy chopped the AEV front bumper and made it a shorty. Looked good and probably cheaper than buying new. The rear just wouldn't look right cutting a portion out of the middle.

Yea the aev front cut to a short bumper looks great with flat fenders. Course you can always sell the front and then buy a short and winch for little out of pocket cost.

I honestly don't have a problem with any rubbing.

The AEV 3.5 and 35's are working perfect.

I can see with a 3.5 lift there wouldnt be rubbing. I am thinking A 1/4 inch spacer would do the trick instead of trimming the fenders.
