Wow! I have pretty good rash on my front left fender.

What happened?

Here is a photo of when it happened. Notice the front fender popped up. the JKU is just so long. There were about 18 of us and only 2 unlimiteds on the trail, everyone else had 2 doors and didn't have near as many issues as me. The other JKU had a 5.5" RK long arm kit and 37s. I need more jeep!

I'm doubting my 3.5 and 35 MTRS would have faired any better.

Decided to go with the AEV heat reduction hood. Our OEM Moab decals are too large so had to go after market. Sold my stock hood for $450.00 in one day. Added AEV pintler wheels and waiting on AEVs rear tire carrier. Even with the paint code there are 7 ver of bright white. The pintlers fill out the wheel wells nicely.

I love that hood. Decal looks good on it too.

Moab-AEV build complete. Added the finishing touches to my build. Pintler wheels, heat reduction hood, 2.5" AEV lift along with the Moab/AEV bumpers, skid plate, rock rails and other parts made the build personal apposed to a turn key unit. The only issue I have is the after market moab decal. Going to redo that. Factory decal is 22" whereas the space between the vent and edge of hood is 20". Waiting on tire carrier.

Unofficially off the record

3594 for US Retail (Not worldwide)

Break down is:
136 - 2 DR Stick
599 - 2 DR Auto
267 - 4 DR Stick
2592 - 4 DR Auto

Of the 136 - 2 DR Sticks, I wonder how many are strictly Soft tops like mine?

Just a heads up for everyone, go check the 8 bolts around the crash cans to make sure they are still tight. I had 4 loose and one of them had the nut completely off the bolt, luckily it was sitting on the skid plate, so I didnt lose it.

Very cool, a Moab in its element. Better than trudging in the snow and ice.

Here's my first post. If your looking for a hoop for your AEV bumper check out Moab/MW3 - maximus-3.com. They make one just for us. They also have the light mounting brackets among other things. I ordered a hoop and brackets yesterday.
