I just received an update on Tuesday that mine has moved into the "Frame" stage. And the WAIT continues.

I had a meeting at Toledo Assembly today. I walked from the Liberty side over to the JK side of the plant. rounded the corner and there in front of me was the offline final assembly of the Moabs. at least 20 sitting there waiting for their bumpers, Black White and Rock Lobster were the only colors.
What brought you to the plant, Paul?

I sure it is I have seen a few.

Anyone elses hood retardedly shaky at highway speeds? For the life of me can't figure out how to secure it better its real wobbly, my 2011 JK with the normal hood was sturdy as hell. Wondering if it's just a fit issue with mine or if its on all of them with this Mopar/AEV hood?

My 2013 JKUR does not shake up to 80mph, haven't tried it above that. I thought the AEV hoods weighed even more than the stock hood?

My Moab hood has zero shake at 80 mph. I know the AEV hood weighs more, but I don't know if that is true for the Mopar Moab/COD hood.

Mine hood only shook on the highway in gusty headwinds. I have read stock hoods do it also. I did the zip tie trickand now zero shakes.

There are also some nice looking aftermarket latches that might help it stay latched, not sure though.

Number made = number ordered

Seriously though I wish I knew that too, along with how many of each color.

Its either 3200 or 3400, I forget which. Maybe 3500.
I'll txt the Brand manager and ask. I know he said he can get me production numbers after its over. We're kind of thinking mine was one of if not the first 2 door manual.
Production ends in four weeks, just in time for the 10A to start.

We have had our white Moab for two weeks now and we absolutely love it.

We got the white top, 730n, saddle interior, locker rear, side air bag seats etc. We brought it home without the stock rims and tires as I brought my own along to install before taking it off the lot.

Awesome Jeep!

yes, it's my only gripe thus far. and now that it's cold, it turns into an ice depository until the hood warms and i reach 45 mph and smashes into my windshield. (i have the CoD MW3 ed.) to me, it is a huge design flaw.

Moab lettering

Has anyone with a white Moab - had the lettering in Red - as is currently on the Jeep website? I was hoping for plain black. Mine is on order and I'll pick up in a week - I just noticed it on the website and it was the first time I'd see the decal in red.

Never seen the red before and those rims are not the standard moab rims either.

The site is not correct. No Red Decals, No Moab wheels, No BFG KM's
