Mod Jeep before I have Jeep

Please help me out...all you need is a measuring tape...

I bought some mesh today that I am going to paint over the long weekend to begin my budget grill insert mod.

I only want to paint what I need, however I do not yet have a key part of this mod...the Jeep.

Would someone be willing to tell me how tall the grill needs to be to cover the slots? I know I need 7 but I don't know the size.

Perhaps you can run out to the driveway and measure it.... I only need to be close. The mesh came in 3' lengths.

I don't want to waste the paint or a long 3 day weekend....

Thanks in advance,

Ed

I used one piece of mesh right across the back of the grill, it was 11in wide and just covered the slots top to bottom.
