Mods? That is the Question.

I just got a Black 2012 JKU... wondering what mods i should start off with... I plan on doing little ones first, and doing a lift kit and tires in a couple years... i dont want to do everything in one day. So for now what are some cheap, good looking mods i could do. i plan on doing the gutter guard behind grille Mod . And maybe swap out the big ass antenna for a black 13' stubby. Any other ideas. And please give your experience with the mod if you have done it. Thanks alot.

Congrats on the new Jeep! Start with the stubby bumper mod. Be fore warned. Once you start modding you won't be able to stop. The only limits are your wallet and your imagination.

I'd recommend this one before anything else, as the stock headlights suck, and it's Girl Scout cookie season. First couple pages tell you how to do it:

Rallylight/Hella headlight upgrade install

This link is where you get the stuff you need to do it:

Susquehanna MotorSports - High Performance Vehicle Lighting and Competition Accessories

And here are some random links to various things we've all subjected our Jeeps to in the pursuit of making them even more awesome than they were when we drove em off the lot:

Cheapest, Coolest Mods!
Aftermarket short antenna??
Best 2012 JK Floor Liners?
grab handle recommendations?

Some other cool sites that may or may not inspire you:

Safari Straps

JK4D | SpiderWebShade.com

JK Tuffy Conceal Carry Underseat Security Drawer for Jeep Wrangler, JK

Quadratec Floor Liners for Jeep Wrangler - Quadratec

Enjoy!

I know the feeling. All these mods and then I have to spend my mod money on trivial things like a mortgage and clothes for the kids.

Eh, clothes are over rated. Guess thats why I'm gonna be a poppa next month

Reasonably cheap mod: paracord grab handles! Just search the forum, I thought I read a posting the other day on here where someone listed a bunch of cheap mods with links to their respective threads. I will see if I can scrounge it up.

Cant find the one I was looking for, but do a search for Basecamper's bfg build. He had a lot of good stuff in there.

Maybe post #7 in the "s.o.l. strap" link I posted above? Not a "guy", but a WF vendor.

The links I post usually have relevance. I don't just pull em outta my ass, contrary to popular belief.

Yes SHE has some nice stuff. They are reasonably priced and she makes more than grab handles, door straps, key fobs etc. I'm hoping to receive mine in a few days.

If you dont feel like paying someone else, there are ~1000 sources for videos and links on the net about how to do it

How do you flip the mirror upside down, I don't seem to have enough room to get it around?
