Mopar 3" lift kit

Any thoughts, experiences (good or bad), concerns about this lift kit??? I got a friend that can get me a hook up for the part and installation at the jeep dealership he works for Got priced at $1100 for everything. I hear a lot of
mixed reviews about this lift. Is it worth it?

I believe MOPAR private labels the TeraFlex 3" lift for that kit. I only have the TeraFlex 2.5" kit, but we love them. Mike has one, too. His has been on for a year and a half and I've had mine for almost six months. No issues at all!

I don't know specifics about the lift, but $1,100 is a steal for that kit. My friend was just quoted $2,100 for that kit with install from a dealer.

If it's just a rebranded TF lift you'll be good to go.

I've have it installed on mine for about a month. I haven't really tested it out on terrain yet, but so far so good, looks pretty as hell, let's hope it holds up.

i just asked my salesman when i bought my willy's but in conversation. their dealer gets almost $3k for it installed. hella pricing on the purchase of jeeps, but i see where they get their money back lol. he thought it was a crazy as i did

Great price for the kit, would be hard to pass up for that price.

I have the kit on my rig and no complaints at all.

Most of the bashing I see is simply related to price. Other gripes are fixed control arms but if they are designed to for the lift as a kit then one could argue there is no need. Also many dealers will claim to give you 3yr/36k warranty on the lift AND wont try and blame the lift for any other warranty work.

I got the Stage III 3" Mopar lift BECAUSE of the fixed length control arms. I've been through just about everybody else's flexy joint control arms and I was looking for reliability as well as performance. The lift performs so well that the supplied limiting straps are actually needed. I've got over 30K miles on my Jeep with it so far, and not one complaint.

3k on mine, no complaints. There's some pics of it in my build thread below.

AND that's a heck of a price!! But sounds suspiciously low. I would verify you're truly getting the Mopar Stage 3.

Thanks for the input everyone. I will definitely ask my connection the specifics about this kit. It does seem to go to be true but if everything checks out I'm going for it 110%. I appreciate all the help my fellow jeepers.

Just as a comparison if you were to buy similar parts, as we don't sell everything in that kit to the public, you would be $900 for the shocks, $1900 for the lift and that isnt even counting the speed bumps or limit straps. If they are saying $1100 and it is their stage 3 kit that is a super steal.

Is the current Mopar lift just rebanded TeraFlex other than the shocks? i.e all the parts, Control arms (why not adjustable) and springs... I know in the past they have been crappy other companies like super lift and RE so I always over look them. Also, why limiting straps are the parts in the kit not long enough or does it not include something it needs like extended brake lines or?

I paid $2250 for this kit and $600 for labor at the dealership before I took delivery of my 2014 JKURX. At first it ride very stiff, but it has gotten way better. I've had it flexed out pretty good a couple of times. Only issue I had was at full stuff I rubbed the passenger side rock rail on the back tire (35s).

$1100 sounds super suspicious. Make sure it has the Fox reservoir shocks, Teraflex speed bumps, 6 control arms (all four rear and lower fronts), rear bracket for trac bar, limiting straps, exhaust spacer, swaybar connects, and of course the springs. As mentioned earlier, the Fox reservoir shocks are nearly $1100 themselves.
