Mopar freedom hardtop noise vs soft top or smitty?

HI guys,
I have a JK 07 Sahara 2-door soft-top and since some nice person cut a hole in the top last week I'm thinking of just getting a hard top. The soft top is so noisy plus too hard to put back up by myself anyway...so I never really put it down.
But I want the option of being able to take top down in case though so was thinking of
1.The Mopar 3-piece freedom top.
2. or the Smittybilt one-piece (and I guess I won't be able to take the top down at all if I get that one)

Any help with which is quieter/ better? I've heard things about the 3-pieces leaking...has anyone had that happen?
Is the 3-piece still really noisy?
Finally, do I need a jeep dealership/specialist to make the soft top to hardtop changeover or should I just trust my local guy who says he's happy to do it - how hard is it? (I don't plan on bothering with the rear wiper so don't need wiring I guess).

Any help appreciated....
