Priced the mopar 2 inch budget lift for $196.00 and $400.00 install, including a wheel alignment. Anyone ever use this and how did it look completed ?

I didn't know MOPAR had a spacer kit...are you talking about an AEV kit?

If its the full blown suspension kit then you are looking at a re-badged Rubicon Express lift kit. Should price out between $1200 - $1500.

Ah, well this is the AEV spacer kit, so $200 is a good price. And that's a good spacer kit. I wouldn't pay $400 for an install though.

As far as looks, it'll look like every other 2" spacer lift. A few folks on here have it.

Way back I got a quote to install a full
Coil lift. It was $400. A bit much.
I'm sure the real question, is the dealer doing it? You afraid of the warranty?

$400 is way high for a spacer lift install, even with the alignment. I've got a 3" Full Traction lift with shocks, springs, adj trackbars, adj control arms, brake line relo, yaddayadda...

Couple months ago I got an installation quote on that for $600.

EDIT: Although MTH is right...the AEV spacer lift is really good.

The AEV 2" spacer lift is great, especially if you ditch the extensions and go with Bilsteins designed for 2" lift. I did this on our 2 dr and it rides fantastic, both on and off road. The more expensive Mopar 2.5" spring lift is way too stiff and sucks if you ask me. It actually ruined a nice set of tires. I ripped it out of our 4dr and put in the AEV 3.5" Premium lift. Night and Day if there ever was one. My advice, spend the money and get the best lift you can afford up front. Then you can enjoy your Jeep without having to revisit the suspension. Ride quality is everything. The cost will even out in the end. My experiences: A cheap lift can cost you way more than you think you're saving.
