Mopar lifts

I have a $1000 credit from the dealership for mopar parts, I been looking a teraflex or AEV 2.5" lift. With the credit I could get a Lift from Mopar and pay the difference, They seem a bit more expensive but its about the only thing I would want other than maybe a winch. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them compared to the after market lift.s

someone posted up pics of their mopar teraflex lift yesterday 3 inches i believe, it looked super legit. If I had a $1K credit, i'd buy it.

IMHO they are way over priced for what your getting. Can you just order a Mopar lift through the dealer? What else do they have to offer?

No way.

Do the lift aftermarket. $1000 can get you a great lift to start.

That Mopar stage 3 is like $2500 not including install I believe .

Spend $3k aftermarket

2" lift through Quadratec is $1600. I am assuming I could get it for that much or maybe even less. Teraflex is around 800, AEV around 900. Wish they had more options with mopar parts. Not much I need/want for the credit they are giving me.

Personally I would not do either lift so I would most likely opt for the winch. Although the Teraflex kit is a decent kit for the price outside the dealer they are one of the last companies using linear springs. Linear springs are more prone to sagging, spring unseating under flex, and not as good of a ride as a progressive rate spring. As far as the AEV I have no personal experience with it but I dont like the lack of adjustability and the the price for what you get.

Ya but "Mopar" bucks would have to be bought from the dealer no?

Yeah would have to spend at the dealer, just trying to get an idea of the price.

I don't know if you can haggle the price with the dealer, worth a shot I guess.

For $1000 how about the Mopar rock crawler bumper with hoop (and fog lights if you don't already have them)?

By the time you purchase ALL of the parts that come with the mopar lift, you'd be surprised how affordable that kit is. Yeah you can do a lift for less but not for that price with all 8 control and AND the shocks.

Not necessarily the cost of the lift that is the problem. The lift seems to work out ok, it's the installation of said kit. Mine was/is 1k to install. Other install places i have contacted were half that.

The cost of any repair and/or install is totally dependent on each individual dealer. I have the Mopar lift on my 2010, installed by the dealer, since they were competitive with the other installers in the area. They also warrantied the work and parts for 3 years/36000 miles.

Well apparently, all the dealers around my area are thinking the same thing.

Bbtj how does the lift ride? Still haven't decided what I am going to do. I go in this week to get a part replaced that the dealer dinged up while fixing it. I'll have to decide by then.
