Smile More Black Wheels and MISC Ramblings

Hello all, after reading plenty of threads about plasti dip, decided to take to dive and do all 5 wheels on my 12 JK Sahara. While I was working on her I also did some rust prevention with Rust Reformer and Protection Paint. here are some pics, I think it looks really good with the BFG dark paint. Thanks to whom ever made the complete write up for doing the wheels.

First pic is at Fort Fisher, NC SE Coast.

Now some other ramblings, has anyone noticed this problem with their jk? It always seems to happen a day after I clean it up real good, the next day it's dirty again, mud everywhere and sand inside the cab. Anyone else have this problem?

Impressive, It came out really nice. Did you tape off the tire around outer edges of the rim?

I think some folks address the durability question in the threads below:

Plasti Dip Coating Wheels
Plasti Dip grille
Plasti-Dippin

Yes I did tape the tire bead edge. Was careful while peeling off the blue tape. Maybe a touch up here or there after peeling off the tape.

I'm always about the black wheels, and MISC? Man I know misc.

Those look awesome and now I want to try it for myself on my Rubicon wheels.

Ya, as soon as its warm for 24 hrs, I'm going to do my 5. That looks so damn good with the BFG, but its rocks with the brighter colours IMHO. Yours look beautiful, frankly Black and Dark Greens have always looked classic. Love it!

I've always liked the dark green with black wheels, reminds me of the Willys Edition TJ they did for a few years. Would have loved to see that model come back, real neat looking. While we are here, does anyone know of a good place to get decals like the ones on the Willys Edition TJ?
Strider, which part of NJ are you from. I grew up and spend my winters in Mt Holly area.
