Looking to mount lights on windshield.

Really more for looks than functionality.

Any suggestions?

If purely for looks and your not gonna worry about using them, you could always go to harbor freight and pick up a set of offroad lights from them. They would be about 20 bucks.

Off-Road Lights - 6" Off-Road Light System

However, if it were me I would spend a few more bucks and get something that a little more durable and trail worthy its hard to go wrong with anything KC and if you stick with halogen then that will keep the classic look and the price down.
100w spot apollo's would do just fine. (full disclaimer i have never actually used the round harbor freight lights, I had a pair of square ones on my 4 wheeler when my original ones got smashed after a nasty roll. They were cheaply made the glass lens used to fall out of them and would get lost on the trail or break for 20 bucks I would just put a new light back in worked fine.

Anyhow,

Amazon.com: KC HiLiTES 150 Apollo Pro 6" 100w Spot Beam Light System: Automotive

Everything you would need there (wiring harness and switch)

how bout that if you zoom in on amazon you can see Made in the USA right under the KC symbol.

OP im pretty sure that KC makes a 55 watt version of the apollos as well which would be cheaper but you will get much better performance out of the 100watt lights.

The harbor freight with the updated bulbs sounds like a cheap and easy setup as well tho.

I've got the harbor freight lights for pillar and front hoop. I sanded and painted them black, threw in some 130w h3 bulbs. The pillars are spots and then I found some kc reflectors for 15 bucks a piece on eBay for the front. I feel I have a solid system and I like the old-school look of them. Could I go more expensive, or better...of course. But this works well and I definitely won't outrun my lights.

Get what you want its your jeep they maybe saying that because they can make more money off a more expensive light. I will say be careful with the cheaper LEDs I bought two different brands and got muddy moisture behind them in no time before I finally bought some rigids (on my bumper I have halogens on my windshield). The rigids have held up well and have no moisture the other two were worthless and looked bad in no time. My point is if you do LEDs I wouldn't cheap on them.
