Mounting an American flag on my Jeep ( Suggestions)

So, I want to mount the American flag on a pole, on my jeep to fly tomorrow on the 4th while driving around town. Has anyone ever done this? If so, suggestions or advise would be great, even what to buy would be great too!

I don't want the pole to snap off and have the flag fall to the ground!

do you have a CB antenna? i've seen that done several times... the flag clipped to the antenna, works pretty well.

I was gonna suggest hose clamps to the roll bar, but I see you have an Unlimited, so nevermind.

I'd check your DMV / state laws for possible restrictions, if any. Some states have laws about flags on motorcycles/vehicles... I realize its all about being patriotic, but... better safe than sorry.
