Mounting front license plate on factory bumper

Do you just put the screws in where the two indents are or is there some kind of mounting bracket needed? Just want to make sure before I go putting holes in my bumper. Thanks!

Two screws where the indents are. Make sure the screws are no more than 3/4" long.

Just don't overtorque the #12 or 14 screws.

Use #12 or #14 screws and don't overtorque them.

With a little ingenuity I'm sure you could fab up a bracket that bolted to the bottom of the bumper.

Just put it on with the screws, you'll be removing it shortly anyway.

I purchased a 10pk of stainless steel tamper resistant torx screws #14 x 3/4" for around $10. Used extra on rear plate. Look better than the flat blade OEM screws.
