So I'm locked in on Metal Cloak as my future suspension. But, since I have a 2-door I will have to wait for them to develop and release a 2.5" version for the 2-door, which might be sometime late this year.
With that said, I'm going to move on to wheels. I'm not married to any particular wheel (rim) or tire. But here are my prerequisites.
1. 35" Duratrac (just based on snow/ice and overall reviews)
2. Wheels need to be hub-centric instead of lug-centric
3. I want to keep the final combo price within $1,600
4. I want to try to keep the weight down and avoid the need of buying a rear tire carrier immediately.
Two other points, while I wait for the lift I want to minimize the expense of a lift to clear the tires, so I plan on just getting a teraflex leveling kit to raise the front 2" and the rear 1". This will be a disposable option to get me through the next couple of months and so I can enjoy the wheels during the summer. But should I be aware of anything else to clear 35"
Let me hear what you guys suggest.
