Mudflaps/ side steps

Anybody having side steps can tell me pls if they do act as mudflaps as well?
And if they're confortable...

I have factory running boards no they do no good as far as keeping anything off the jeep

well then, I guess the layers of different quality & source mud I get on the car should be enough...

If you want to have something there, best option is to get aftermarket rock sliders. The factory step are plastic, offer no protection and are not even bolted to the frame. I don't even use mine getting in and out of the Jeep. Check out quadratec

I just got these Teraflex Mudflaps from Quadratec. I'll be installing the mud flaps on the back of the Jeep JK Wrangler and on the back of our Tentrax Off Road Camper.
I like this product because, I can pull a slip pin and the flaps and bracket can be removed. This way I only run with the flaps when pulling the trailer.

I'll post pics after they are installed.

those things look like they might work for someone running 31's or smaller.

at least where i live i dont think they would pass safety inspections with anything larger than 31's

i dont know how hot it is, but a decent looking mud flap though.
