Muffler

Sorry for the really "green newb" question but I figured better to ask than to assume.

I am looking at buying a Flowtech Raptor 50050 Performance Muffler. Cheap way to change the sound on the new wrangler.

Does anyone know if mufflers are universal?

I just realized that the muffler is off set (left and cetre inputs) with 2" inlets. Just depends on where the pipe is from the engine. If it's not to the side but in the front of the muffler like on the image here then it's not compatible.

Any suggestions on mufflers that would fit?

do u need it to use the existing rear piping? otherwise you just need a basic muffler. i have a cherrybomb glass pak and i love it. it was too loud at first, but then it settled in and now gives my wrangler a nice growl. i can take a video if there is any interest.

Sweet sound, rap/burble-no drone unless you're in the wrong gear, although it might be a little loud for ya !!

Would love to hear the video if you have time. I would like it to use the existing piping but i don't know if there is cutting or welding involved neither of which i have ANY experience at. I might just buy one and take it to the local garage if that's the case. i thought maybe i'd find a non welded exhaust but maybe im naive in thinking that even exists

What's the best way to measure the inlet cause I live in canada and I'd hate to order one with the wrong inlet size.

So I checked out my exhaust. There is an inlet in the middle on the side facing the front of the jeep and the outlet on the right side. Since the muffler does not have an inlet at either end of the muffler what can I do. Anyone have any suggestions on mufflers that would fit this configuration

Thx again
