Muffler heat shield rattling

Any quick fixes for this or can I just rip it off? The rattles are driving me nuts

I can't remember what size it is-between 5mm and 10mm-it's been a couple years and I've only got the studs left in the overhead-

Good luck

I believe it's approximately 5 sixteenths for the wrench and if you plan on using a socket check for deep well sockets.

I just did mine a few weeks ago and found that I needed to put new nuts on along with wider fender washers that allowed me to catch more meat of the plate.

Have fun!
