Mufflers IMCO Turbo

I'm looking to upgrade my muffler to get some good sound. My local muffler shop offered me $85.00 to install an IMCO ( international muffler company) Turbo muffler. He swears by it and says its in between the magna flow and flow master sound... Anyone have this muffler? Know anything about it? Have video/audio?

I recommend sticking to proven quality. Flowmaster and Corsa are great choices. Cheaper options, which you can find on youtube, include dynomax and gibson.

If the muffler shop has a money back guarantee where they'll try again free of charge then go for it but id be worried wondering how an $85 hack job might turn out.

I'm under the impression from research that IMCO has been around a long time. They make the factory muffler on the mustang and were the go to glass pack previous to flow master.

Good price if it sounds ok. Any guarantee offered? Hell, I just paid 250 for mine but I know what it will sound like, look like and all that good stuff.

You can try an intake before a muffler. I'm so pleased with my intake's sound that I'm no longer interested in a muffler. They aren't cheap though so... whatever.

I have a Trush Turbo. I really like it. Fairly quiet at idol and has a nice rumble when you hit the gas without waking up the neighborhood. Hated the Flowmaster 40 that I had on before it.
