My first MOD

Just finished installing my first MOD. Although it is an interior change I am still proud of it and excited to play. Have a look. Much more to come including speaker upgrade, wheels, tires, lift and rock rails.

Not sure about what kind fo speakers yet. I do not plan on using a sub in the back. I would just like to replace the speakers overhead and in the dash with something that has a little bit of bass and some decent sound without breaking the bank. Any clue of what size speakers fit all the way around?

I run 6in speakers in my truck and people try to find a sub that is not there. but then again I'm running JL audio XRs with a 400x4 amp to them so that might help a little.

a good set of pioneer speakers will sound good and not break the bank

Thats what I was thinking. I like pioneer. So should i be looking for 5 1/4's or can I go larger?

Sounds good. I'm now on the hunt for descent speakers on the cheap. Thanks.

How does that JVC compare to the Mygig units? I take it that it has a NAV capability, too? How much did that set you back, if you don't mind me asking.

And stop calling me Shirley.

No nav with it that I know. I got it used through this forum actually for 150 shipped. Couldn't beat that deal. I think it went for around 500 new.

I don't know how it compares since I never tried out the other. It fit in dash pretty well. I just had to bend a little metal back there to squeeze it in. No harm done.
