My first time...

trail riding was this weekend! And I am in love. OBSESSED I TELL YOU. It's all I have thought about since Saturday, and I'm trying my damnedest to squeeze in another ride this weekend!
It was a 2-3 hour ride with about 120 other Jeeps from the area here in North Georgia, and just the perfect trail for a first timer.
My Rubicon is still stock, offroading performance wise. And I am so impressed with what these things are capable of. I live on about 30 acres and we have some four wheeler trails in our woods I've torn threw since I was a kid, but that's about my extent of offroading. I got a great idea this weekend of how freakin fun this is, but also how to respect the power of the Jeep and the trail.
I read somewhere on here that the perfect offroading "upgrade" is experience, and that is so true. A couple of spots were a little "sketchy" on some rocks and I was so afraid I'd screw something up. Once we got through those spots, my heart was beating like crazy, but being the adrenaline junky that I am, I wanted to turn around and do it again.
What have I gotten myself into?

Here's a picture of my best friend and I toward the begniing when we were stopped waiting on some fellow Jeeprs to fix a flat up ahead, and a picture of the Jeeps meeting up to head out:

Nice! Have you planned a date to install your lift yet? I'm sure I will see you at some point at one of these events in GA

Haven't set a date yet, because I'm STILL waffling with what brand, and whether I want 3 or 3.5". So many things to choose from!
If you see me, be sure to say hey!!

So fun! And yes a little scary rocking back and forth like that! Also, I noticed it suddenly felt so easy to drive once we were back on the highway on paved asphalt haha. And thank you!!

I have put the MetalCloak Gamechanger with the Old Man Emu shocks on my short list. Will be a fun weekend install. I just need the tools now

I have plenty of time to shop, as I have a while to wait for my 2015.
