my First wrangler, is it lifted?

Hey guys,
my names Shelby and i recently purchased a 2009 jku sahara and i'm looking at getting into some 35's and different wheels but my question to you guys is this.
Is my sahara pictured here stock height? It looks rediculousy tall compared to every stock 4 door i come across but the stock wheels on mine gotta go. I do have the tow package if that makes any difference.
any help is appreciated!
thanks,
Shelby

I call a 2.5". Look at the top of the coils and see if there is rubber (new looking) spacers there, and look at the shocks. If the shocks are stock you might have a leveling kit (2" up front 1" in rear)

thank you for the things to check i will here at lunch in 5 min. Wondering if trimming the pinch weld will allow me to mount 35's with this set up.

Get a few shots of the suspension. Looking for anything that is not Mopar Stock parts. It does look a tad bit taller than stock.

Welcome, and if you want to run 35" comfortably, get some flat flares. You can run 35"a with your setup, but there may still be slight rubbing on bumps and especially off road. If you have a 2.5" or even the leveling kit, running flat flares will give a ton of room so you wouldn't rub with 35"s, and they look damn good. Trimming the pinch seams will still be a good idea, although not needed for most 35"s.

So i went out and checked the measurements (referring to stock size pictured above) between the spring and shock and they are as follows
shock - 21
spring 12

and here's a picture of the shock, doesn't look factory to me but I couldn't see a brand while i was looking briefly.

the diagram is for the front not the rear. The rear stock should be 19" from the center of the shock eyelets . If those are front measurements then looks 2.5" lift on the front

the rear shocks are 21.5 between eyelets. I think it's safe to say 2.5" lift? probably budget boost or something of that nature involving spacers. I was surprised though to see the brake lines did not need to be re located which i thought you had to do in in anything over 2"

That does not look lifted to me. It does however appear that the fenders have been trimmed somewhat.

I say at the very least leveled but maybe a 2.5" budget boost with RWS (random white shocks). Probably Rancho RS5000 or Procomp

You can see a track bar bracket and if you look closely a bumpstop extension bolted to the axle.
So yes it is lifted !!

My how a picture can say so much. If you get shot of the springs especilay the top portion we can tell is it is a spacer lift or a spring lift.
