My grill is most of the way done now!

Over the course of the last month my girlfriend and I have slowly done a full grill mod. I am going to have to redo part of it, and I still need to put my Jeep emblem back on (painted red) but I think it came out great!

First I bedlined my grill using Rustoleum Bedliner, in the spray can.

Aft that I put ip tie mounts on the back. We cut out and formed the gutter guard. Then to get the color just right we primed the gutter guard, then sprayed it with Duplicolor color match, and topped it off with clear coat. You can't really tell a difference in color when you hold it up to the Jeep! I know it looks a little darker in the picture, but it matches in person! I love it! Now just to get my Jeep emblem back on!

Hope you guys like it! Cheers!

(Love the driver's side mirror sign)

Cool idea with the color matched grill mesh.

Looks great.. Did u apply the spray in bed liner directly over the paint? I did my doors with the spray liner but I used plastic dip then the bed liner so it will still peel off later..

That! Is a million dollar idea, I must say! I wish I would have thought of it! Mine is sanded then bedlined. So no going back for me! I debated it a hundred times, finally I just started sanding, so I knew I couldn't back out again :P

I actually had it done here locally. They did a bunch of decals for me, and one more to come (passenger side mirror will be same red, same font "Its a Jeep thing"). I don't know this forums rules for advertising so if you want their info, send me a pm! I'm sure they can hook you up!

Here all is what they did for me. (I was a 19D (Job Code) Cavalry Scout in the US Army.

Star on the hood, as shown above, and the wave dammit sitcker. Also

Veteran and 19D on the front

The stripes go the whole length of the Jeep.

Hope you like it! Cheers!

Awesome idea of painting the grill mesh the same as the body color. I think that looks really good with the black grill.

Thanks...I was leaning towards black but my wife told me to go with something close to the same color as the Jeep.

Love this! Your grill was originally body color correct? How many coats did it take of the rustoleum? Where did you get the gutter guard?

Great looking jeep!
