My hot wife made a tactical mistake

I'm on holiday, she still has to work. UPS guy dropped off a 'Warrior Products" box while I was in the shop. Sooo.... Any advice on:
- How to still act surprised.
- Has anyone installed warrior 5" side plates on their 2012 2 dr. crush? (Please tell me they come in black!).

I wonder if she'll believe me if I tell her the box arrived damaged/open... ?

Go put the box on the front step just before she gets home and play dumb. lol
My wife gets really pissy if she thinks I even have a remote idea what she got me.

But yea you have a hot wife.If shes buying you Jeep goodies.
Im like a little kid with the old Sears catalog circling all the things I want in the Jeep wish books but she will do her shopping at JCpenny and I will get clothes Im sure. Some women think since they love clothes that their husband does as well.22 years of marriage and you would think she would figure it out. I would go naked for some Jeep goodies.

"Un-damage/un-open" the box and play dumb. Admit nothing. LOL

Good plan... and fortunately it (playing dumb) comes easy! I know that she'll know that I know (?) as I just can not deceive my wife... but at least she'll respect me for trying.

First rule of forum posting, you cannot mention hot wife without providing pictures of said hot wife.

"What box are you talking about darling" should do the trick.

wait... I think I just said she'll respect me for trying to deceive her. I take that back.

In my own defense I DID not open the box (though I want to see the color)... It actually says "side plates" on the box along with a part number.

I'm putting it back on the porch and leaving until I know she's home. Somehow she'll still know though... she's gonna be pissy.

Yup. If it was my wife, it would be a no win situation. Better you than me, LOL.

Sounds like some are trying to set you up for failure. Hope you can get away with it, in the best way of course.

GoldenSahara00 said you can't mention a hot wife without posting a pic. But if you should post a pic that's fine..... LOL

You all think you can out smart women. That is funny! I learned that lesson a long time ago...it is impossible.

You might as well just open it, install it, and tell her thanks.

You probably still get in trouble but a lot less trouble than "trying" to out smart them.

Oh yeah, when she finds out you post her picture you will be in 10 times more trouble. Just helping a brother out.

I had to post. My hot husband got me new auxillary headlights, an Evap. skid and a fire extinguisher for my birthday. (My girlfriends just didn't understand my excitement). He waited until the last minute to put out the wrapped gifts because I am notorious for peeking. But I took one look at those two, evenly sized square boxes and said "you bought me lights!". He looked devastated. I tried to recover with "just kidding" but it was too late.
Your wife will know you peeked- we just do. And she'll be upset because she went to all the work of locating those for you. From the female perspective I would suggest groveling- and adding an extra present under the tree.

Really simple solution. Leave the box out front and leave the house until she gets home. I promise... I've never done this before....

I'm sorry... but if she had it delivered at home where there is any chance you could get to the box first, she shouldn't be able to blame you for seeing the box.

To be honest, the only reason I clicked on this thread is because the OP mentioned his hot wife.
So, since there is no pics of said hot wife, this thread is

I am not normal. I got engaged while driving down a dragstrip. First response "yes". Second response "You a**hole! You ruined my time". (missed second).
That's what happens when you grow up with 3 older brothers.

Suggestion as requested.... Leave the box - act dumb like you never saw it. And make sure your gift to her "compares" so to speak !

I marked the pages of a Quadratec catalogue with tabs, circled the part #'s of what I wanted with a blue sharpie and left it laying around. December 10th, her (rather expensive) washer/dryer with stacking drawers, etc.. were delivered. She was blown away, (large family of 6 and she really enjoys laundry/taking care of all of us) I'm crossing my fingers

My list included coverking seat covers, drake hood hold downs, rampage 3d grill inserts, and mopar entry guards. We shall see what Mrs. Clause brings me
