My Jeep is Awesome

I live in Huntsville, AL and last week we had some pretty nasty storms hit us hard. Real hard. Less than a mile from my house, entire neighborhoods are totally gone.

Since then, my Jeep has driven my family and neighbors through overflowing creeks, around down trees, and carried us safely through all other messes.

It has served as the neighborhood charging station for cell phones other devices while our power has been off for multiple days. It has carried loads and loads of ice to keep our food and beer cold.

With the top and the doors off, the radio provided us endless hours of music and news while we gathered to cook food on the grill. The lights lit up the street so everyone could walk home safely in the dark.

today it was used to carry a generator and fuel to get my office up working again serving the soldiers we work to support every day.

Couldn't have done any of it without my Jeep. What an awesome machine.

i am in Monrovia. Power came on last night. We're good where I live now. Still nothing at the office near Research Park. Everything around the office has power so it shouldn't be long.
