My New 07 Jeep

Here is a pic of my new jeep--I hope it is attached. I bought it last week. Anyway I have posted a few questions on here already and have had some great answers. I know everyone wants to see everything so here it is.

I am wondering if my jeep has a lift or not? How can I tell? It has 15 inch wheels on it and 33x12.50 tires on it. The salesman said it had a 4 inch lift on it, but I want to know what you guys think. Let me know.

Also what issues should I look for with it--i noticed a rattle in the exhaust tonight--I think I have a 90 day warranty, so any issues that you can give me a heads up on would be great.

It's hard to tell if it has a lift or not. If those are 33" tires it is definitely not a 4" lift.

I can't tell by that pic. I want to say it is indeed lifted, but how much I'm unsure.

what's the tire size on the sidewall?

post a pic of the springs, and shocks. It looks like 33's with a budget boost to my eyes. that why I want to see the springs and shocks.

I'm thinking a 2 to 3 inch if anything. Mine has a 4.5 & it looks a lot different to yours, I have 35's. Congrats on the new Jeep!

He said they're 33x12.5's. So I'd guess that you're right. I think the salesman had no clue about that which he was speaking... as is typical with salesmen... but I guess they do have their work cut out for them.

yeah but you know how salesmen are. they don't know their a** from a hole in the ground. that's why I wanted the tire size verified.

that could be a 31 or 32...with the space in the well I'd say unlifted then.

I see a shock though, that means no inner fender, which means lifted. I want to see a close up. I'm still guessing budget boost. 4" of lift on 33's looks goofy, and that jeep looks proportioned. 2" or 2.5" if those are indeed 33's.

JK shocks are visible and accessible with the inner fender intact.

Yup, the inner fender liner has nothing to do with the lift, till you go EXTREME

My shocks are visable before/after, which is also why I was able to do the brake line interference fix (fender liner)-after the lift

One section of the installation instructions for these Bushwackers, is to reconfigure the stock JK fender liners, for complete installation security--

All four installed and all four brakeline relieved !!

Sorry about the exposure, but when I took this pic, 3 months ago, I didn't figure on showing the fender innards !!

wow. you're a rare one. maybe it's a local thing. every single lifted jeep I've seen is missing the inner fender. me personally, I was just too lazy to put it back on

looking back and forth between jim's jeep, and the OP's I still can't tell. jim's jeep I know has a 2.5" lift and 33's...but it looks like you've got more room in the well.

did you get 2.5" on the money or a little more?

we need to find a 2 door with 4" lift and 33's lol

Heh Heh, I've been called a 'RARE ONE' before !!

Measurements before and after, show a 2¾" actual lift in the front and I had to use the inner liners to install the Bushwackers

Those 33" tires are still at 32¾", because I had just got back from Pyramid Lake (just washed) and the tires were still at 26psi

It would be VERY obvious. You can fit 35's with 2.5" on a JK. That Jeep has a 1" leveling kit, if anything. The OP can easily tell by looking to see if there is a space on the top of the springs.

Man...I don't know what's on that Jeep. after comparing yours with his I'm tempted to say that it's a stocker on 33's. I don't know I give up

it does have 33's on a 15 inch wheel--so what is the verdict?? I will work on pics, but I cannot promise how quick I will get them.

I'd say pics are 100% needed

the only thing I think we all agree on is that no way is that a 4" lift.

My guess is a 2” lift. I’ve been looking around at pictures of stock jeeps with 33” tires(wanted to make sure it works, that’s what I’m going to do until I get my lift on and the tires are much more snug under the fenders than those of kevinss2001.

I am interested to find out. I also have a silver jeep, and that is pretty much the “look” I’m going for.

wouldn't it be easier to open the pic with the "paint program" then resize/reskew the numbers from 100% to 50%? it should load just fine afterwards.

looks like a 2 or 2.5 in Budget boost. Whenever you get a chance take a picture of where the top of the spring sits.

Btw..My inner fenders are still intact too, what would installing a lift have anything to do with them??

you better go back to that retard salesman and tell him to give you $700 for a lift or knock it off the price

I say no lift. I don't see any spacers. the springs and shocks look stock to me.
