My New Deep Cherry Wrangler

Well after months of lurking and searching, we found the one to buy. Bought it used with only 2300 miles on her. It is the S package with the chrome option. The previous owner added the body colored roof. Wasn't sure I liked it but it has grown on me after a few days.

First mod is either Sahara rims or the Altitude rims if I can find them cheap. Sahara rims are everywhere for $300 or less.

So my question to the members is ... do you like the chrome grill. I am tossed whether to find the matte black Altitude grill which I think would look sweet.

Tell me your opinion please and thank you.

Have the same color, no color matched top though. Not a fan of chrome in a Jeep but it's all about what makes you happy. Nice looking rig!

PlastiDip the grill and the mirrors and remove the stickers and it will look great! Love the color, too! Congrats on your new ride!

Thanks. Black was first choice but I couldn't pass up the deal. I like the Red Rock Red color better because it is more maroon. But everyone who see's this color drools. I am just too picky. We also have a 2008 Commander with the 8 cylinder:--)

What is PlastDip. Thought I knew everything ... lol

I'm biased, but I think Deep Cherry Red begs for all-black trim and accents.

Exhibit A, mine...

Sweet sweet ride. Love the black Jeep logo. This is why we all love our Wranglers. So much to customize and make them our own.

So if I bought this matching color grill, is it easy to take off the current grill?

Definitely replace the chrome on the sides. Mine came with that as well. After my first trip to badlands they don't look so great lol.

Great looking Jeep! I like how you set it up. I also prefer black over chrome.

I like Chrome... but it is usually a pain and expensive to maintain. I'm actually more bothered by a color matching top and unpainted fenders. I think the top needs to be black.
