I made the mistake of pulling through a deal with a salesperson like that once. Never again. As somebody said, if that's how they treat you BEFORE you give them your money, imagine what it will be like once you have.
Go somewhere else or at least to another salesperson who cares. There are some good ones out there who actually seem to care about repeat business

The salesman represents the dealership, if his not calling you back is any indication of whats to come, cancel the order and buy elsewhere. If you feel the guy is just being a dick, go to the dealership and talk to the sales manager. If you're not happy or comfortable with the outcome cancel the order and buy somewhere else. Remember they need you, you don't need them, you can buy from any Jeep dealer.

Respectfully disagree. The analogy is correct.

But imagine: You are a jeweler, and someone ordered a puke-green-colored watch. And you ordered it for him and offered him a better deal than he could get on a puke-green watch anywhere else. And then after it was being manufactured and on its way, your watch customer said that he didn’t like the color. You have a puke-green-colored watch coming and you know the customer is going to want the same deal on another watch with a more-acceptable color … but he might change his mind again.
Actually as a jeweler most of that kind of stuff we get on "memo" which means we don't pay until it sells, so I can send it back anytime.

Mine texts me about where I'm wheeling on the weekend or what have I installed since I bought it and to send him pics.

My dealership kept calling to ask if I was interested in buying a jeep after I had placed an order with them. Thankfully that stopped. Now I'm just waiting for the call to come pick it up

If you really want to make something happen. Call and ever so nicely ask if there is someone there who can help you with canceling your order. Someone will come on the line, get their name. Explain to them you ordered the wrong color etc and tactfully but firmly tell them you are going to cancel the order. Forget the friggin sales guy. They may ask who it was and of course tell them. Focus on canceling the order, not the sales guy who took it.

It probably costs more to manufacture and deliver a puke-green Wraner than it does a bad watch.

I went thru the same thing last year when I ordered M2012 JKU. No return calls, lies, incorrect order writing. I resorted to Chrysler Customer Service. They were even unable to get the Salesman or a satisfactory response from the Dealer here on Long Island,NY. Were it not for the fact that I was away on an extended Vacation I would have canceled the Order.
I ordered my Jeep on 8/25/2011 received it 11/29/2011. When I returned home (last week of November 2011) My Jeep was in transit so it would have been foolish canceling.
The Salesman/ Dealer got me one last time with a bogus fee at the moment we finalized the paperwork. I should have canceled and left right then and there.
