Mysterious Radio Station Changes - 2013 730N

Anyone had mysterious radio changes happen on the 2013 730N Uconnect system? I really didn't want the 730N, but it was the only one I could find in the Deep Cherry Red (which they are no longer ordering) with all the other options, so I bit.

I've only had the Jeep for a week, but a few times I've been listening to an FM station and it mysteriously goes to an AM station briefly and then returns to the original FM station. The first couple of times it happened, I thought I hit one of the middle buttons on the back of the steering wheel, but the next source would have been SAT or next preset, not AM. Of course, I immediately started pressing buttons to get back to where I was before. The next time it happened I just waited to see what would happen and it just switched right back after a couple of seconds.

Really weird, the last time it happened I was on a very high overpass on the interstate - maybe a reception issue? I figured if it was reception, it would only fade out or get static on that station, rather than switch bands altogether.

Is this common or has anyone else had this happen?

Do you have the Traffic Announcement enabled? In EU is called TMC.

If you enable it, each time a station issue a TMC signal, the radio switches on that station for the announcement duration.

That makes a lot of sense, but this morning when it switched again momentarily, there was just a commercial on the other station. I heard no traffic announcements or impending apocalyptic news - just a commercial for about 15 seconds and then it went back to the station I was listening to.

I looked a bit closer when it switched and I think i may have even went to an FM broadcast station, but the descriptive text below the numbers said AM. I was tuned into 100.3 and when it switched, the numbers displayed 92.9 and the descriptive text said 660 AM.

The saga continues........

Anybody have any ideas?

Not a clue, but take it back to the dealer and let them figure out what it is.
