Nates 4x4 Full Length Front Bumper

I received my full length front bumper from Nate's 4x4 today. Took less than 10 days from placing the order to receive it. Seem's real solid. I am going to get it painted then install on my 13 JKUR. Has anyone installed this exact bumper on a JKU? Any insight on the install, i.e. is it a straight bolt on or do you have to start grinding and cutting stuff. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the install of the Nate's bumper. Most of the bumpers are straight forward bolt on's. Hopefully they sent you directions. Lets see the bumper. Post a photo ....

Not much to see besides an unpainted hunk of steel. I will see if I can grab a good photo of it.

Hmmm, this bumper has my attention. What is the weight on that bad boy? Cost? Looking forward to seeing pic(s) of it installed.

It weighs about 82 lbs. I think the base cost is like $350, then the add ons brought it to like $450 with shipping. If I had more time, I would prime and paint it with POR 15 to save the cost of bringing it to a body shop to be painted.

Do you have to move the vacuum pump to install or does it bolt right up?

I had a Nate's 4x4 bumper on my TJ... that thing was tuff and sturdy. I sold the Tj several years ago. I would have gone with a Nate's bumper for my JK, but they do not offer the mid width bumper. I went with a JCRoffroad mid width bumper this time around.
You got yourself one tough bumper there, trust me.
Make sure you fit the bumper on the jeep before getting a finish on it... that way you can make any adjustments if you need to...

Dropped bumper this am at a friends body shop to get a nice pro paint job. Painting matte black. It will be finished and installed tomorrow. I will post pics shortly thereafter. My rear bumper should be shipping out from Nate tomorrow. Can't wait to have the pair mounted!!

Bumper is installed. No relocation of vac pump bottle required. It is solid.

Nate's 4X4 huh?

That wouldn't be Nate Cannon by any chance, would it?

Looks very sharp!!! I can see Prius' in the parking lot cowering in fear!

FYI to those that asked, relocation is only needed on bumpers that have recessed winch mounts. Top mounted bumpers like these there is no need for modification.

No idea if his name is Nate Cannon. I did see some negative reviews about Nate's 4x4, but my brother used him for his xj and I liked the welds and overall solidness of his work. I do have to see, he shipped fast and was easy to get on the phone. He was helpful and seemed like a nice guy. I would definitely recommend him based on my experience with him.

This is my former 2004 Tj... I had a Nate's 4x4 bumper on it. I recommend their bumpers.
A car (Ford Fusion) once braked in front of me on a rainy morning and I my Tj did not brake on time and I plowed the rear of that car bad, I wish I would have taken some pics... the only thing my jeep walked away with was a scratch to the paint on the bumper, the other car did not fair to well.

Cool bumper! are the factory driving lights able to be re-used? If so was that a major task?

Finished painting and installing my rear bumper this weekend. Now all I need is my Ace Rock rails to ship so I can install them already, then the Jeep should be done.... for now. The rear bumper is also a Nate's 4x4 Bumper. It has nice welds and appears to be super solid. Weighs about 85lbs, I would estimate. It comes unpainted, so I had it done at a friends body shop. It bolts right on pretty easily, so install was about a half hour. Check it out.
