I've been wanting a nav radio unit. Android based of course. I do like the nav unit on my phone, but it'll be more convenient as part of the radio. Which would you recommend getting? I really rather not spend the 7-9 hundred I see them going for.
But with the random shut down of the map app and my phone. I feel I most go forward if I can.
Sony just released the XAV-AX100. It's an Android auto headunit, doesn't run Android on it natively, but it will use your phone to navigate. Pretty sweet system for 499 bucks.
Oh really! I see a bit of a downfall on working that way. Cause if the phone shuts down the maps or turns off it's self. No NAV then, right? I'll have to look into that. $500 not bad.
