Navigation screen

My film on my navigation screen has started peeling pretty badly. Its almost like a screen protector was on it and kinda melted, but there is not one on there. Not sure if this is a common problem people have seen with theirs. Wondering if there is any product that might help remove that coating? Radio and everything is working fine, but doesn't look real good. Appreciate any tips!

Dumb question but did you ever remove the screen protector that was on it from the factory? Maybe it got too hot and melted? Though I am thinking not likely. Post a pic

There shouldn't be a protector from the factory if i'm not mistaken. It should just be some protector that the factory puts on there for shipping.

Goo gone is really good for getting rid of residue. I'd hit the screen up with some windex on a microfiber towel after a light goo gone treatment. Not sure what kind of effect it can have on the plastic of the screen.

GooGone MAY haze your screen! Be careful! I'd try plain rubbing alcohol first. Maybe straight vinegar.

Good luck!

Forget using Googone type products... They will damage the screen!

I've seen a pic of this once before. Yeah, it looked really bad...but we never knew the cause or the final outcome.

Take it to the dealer (if it is under warranty)
