Looking to permanently attach a fridge to the jk. Hardwire it in. I'm looking at the arb because of the low voltage cutoff and the good reviews. Anybody have any recs on any others I should be looking at before I pull the trigger?

I thought ARB as well when I was looking for a fridge before my death valley trip. My group leader recommended Edgestar. More size choices available, great warranty and has lots of features. Including the low voltage cutoff you're looking for. I bought they're 63qt model for $530. It worked flawlessly on our trip. Very satisfied with it. Come to find out 8 people in our club have them and have had no issues. Glad I asked before throwing down a grand on the ARB. check out their website

I picked up the 50qt ARB for 699.00 shipped during the 4wheelparts Christmas sale. I run it off the 12v plug in the cargo area. We've used it a couple of times. It really is a nice luxury.

I think ARB has a new version now. Metal exterior with locking lid. Might see a price drop on the old style soon.

Look at Snomaster as well. Not as well known, but I saw some of their stuff at an outdoor show. They are a little pricier, but come with a cover and have a remote monitor, both included in the price.

Not affiliated in any way, just thought I would throw out there as another option.
Plus..they have a full stainless shell and don't have a cold plate in the bottom. The coils run around the outside of the entire fridge.

Low voltage cut off as well.

Give em a look. Definitely on my list when that purchase comes up.

Plus 1 on the Black Forest Gear FF31. I paired it with the slide and baseplate. The problem for me was mounting. I didn't want it wandering around the rear and even with all the other slides out there, the problem was they required drilling into the body. Or making something out of wood.

Check out Quadratec's link, they sell the slide, the baseplate and the FF31.

I'm an "Over-Weekender" (TM pending, LOL) more than an Overlander, so size and budget were a concern, but over-all packaging and integration without modification were key.

Engel fridge units work great! My neighbor has one.
I was able to buy an ARB 50qt fridge for $600 last Christmas on their "12days of Christmas" sale seen here:12 Day of Christmas Deals - Day 3
I also bought an ARB 50qt on the same "12days of Christmas" of 2015 as well. When they had the 50qt with Blue Insulated cover for $778. I could not pass up buying another ARB 50qt this last Christmas for $600.
I now have an emergency fridge and freezer, for when the power is lost. Running on solar.

Note: Save the link for the "12 days of Christmas" I provided. I saved it from 2015 and was able to know for 2016 "12Days of Christmas" sale before the employees at my local 4Wheelparts store did. All you have to do is change the number of the day to see what is going to be on sale for that particular day. Normally they NEVER update the sale item until midnite so NO ONE KNOWS what will be on sale the next day until midnite.
One important caveat is, if you go too many days ahead, it will show the previous years sale item. Ex. It is the 2nd day of the sale and you change the link number to 8 for the 8th day of the sale. You MAY see last years sale item if you go too many days ahead. Just be aware.
I used this trick to get another one. And I also got one for my friend in Montana.
Also one more suggestion. The "12days of Christmas" sale items will continue to show the items that were on sale for 2016, up until a couple days before the 2017 Christmas sale.
Just a little trick I was able use to save on another ARB 50qt. fridge.
If anyone else has the patience to wait for Christmas 2017, "12days of Christmas" sale, it may work again.

I convinced my wife we needed two ARB 50qt fridges by explaining to her we could use them to save the 1/2 Buffalo we have in our freezer. About 90lbs of prime yearling buffalo meat would spoil if we did not have backup, on solar power, to save it. She relented.
I don't eat much beef, save the odd rib eye. Don't care for all the chemicals.
