Need advice for buying 2011

1. Found a few with 15k or less miles. Will I notice the older engine if just a weekend vehicle (no off-roading) and snow commuting? Should I just get a 2013 for $5k more?

2. Need suggestion for aftermarket step rails.

I am excited to finally become a Jeep owner!

I went through the same process. My Jeep is mostly a driveway queen (bought it in March and just broke 1k miles).

After looking at used JK's and TJ's for about 4 months, I decided to get a new Sport. The used ones hold their values so well, that I actually looked at a few hammered Wranglers with laughably high prices.

I knew I'd be keeping this for a long time, so I decided to minimize the potential money pits and get the new one. The upside to this is that even if you decide to sell it in 3 or 4 years, you'll pretty much get back any of the extra you spend now.

After having it a couple months, I don't think I'd be happy with any less power than the Pentastar.

Good luck in your search!
