I would start with Quicker disconnects and tow straps. Save the rest for after you off road and few times.

Nice Jeep by the way.

so you have wheels & tires; go for stubby/mid front bumper
other choice would be a winch and cut the front bumper and install caps
may be able to do both a stubby bumper and smaller winch

Nice JKU!

You can do the VDP Stubby Kit. It makes the front look nice. If your planning on swapping out the front bumper though, I would just wait and do that.

You could start with some ACE slider to help you and your wife get in and offer some protection when you go offroad:
ACE Engineering JK 4Dr. Rock Sliders

Then, since it is summer, I would throw on a SPIDERWEBSHADE top!
SPIDERWEBSHADE JK 4Dr. SW1 /// TrailMesh

Then, you could do something like a ENGO winch:
Engo Winches

The main thing is think about where you want to go with our JK and try not to do things twice! It will cost you twice as much in the long run!

If there is anything else you can think of or have any questions, please feel free to let us know!

I got my Ace sliders from Krawl and while the price was the similar as other sellers, they kicked butt on the shipping. $30 savings on the shipping over all the others.

I'll state the first mod I tell anyone to get:
Spiderweb Shade

Saves your skin/scalp and saves your interior. Dirt cheap at $79.99 for an Ultramesh.

Funny, my wife said the same things to me for fathers day.....

and I had the same question as you, but I already have the Ace Rock Rails and the hoist for my hard top

I was thinking about getting Spacers for my Wheels and the Teraflex Spacer leveling kit, to give it a nicer stance... Total of about $450.. I have a Daily Driver, I am just happy not to be in my minivan anymore.

+1 on the SPIDERWEBSHADE SW1/TRAIL MESH. Just got mine direct from their company. They have great customer service and it's a snap to put on. 100+ today and the shade really kept things cool. Also love the UV protection for the noggin!
