Need expert advise - lift and tires

I am thinking about putting on a 2 inch lift with 33 or 35 tires. I have a roof rack on now and any larger rise will make for too small of clearance getting into the garage. I want to leave at least 2 inch top clearance because of snow and ice build up on drive in winter. So, I am wondering if my 4 door wrangler will perform well with 33 or 35 inch tires and if 2 inch lift is enough for 35's. Any suggestions and insight?.....

Go for a 2.5 inch lift for 35,s. You will get 2 up front and 3 in the rear. (That sounds bad)
